Well, just a few hours ago we posted Part 2, and it was joyous news. San Carlos patients were getting their medically ordered mattresses back. It figures – it was too good to be true.
We just learned staff is “dragging their feet” in giving them back. One Sargent was quoted as saying “we ran out”. You just took them a few days ago! A truthful officer said, ” they are pissed that they have to give them back, so they are going to give ya the sh*tiest, thinnest, mat they can find.” An inmate asked if we would be ordered to get them “in the heat of the day”……no answer was forthcoming. Does anyone want to guess what it will be?
