Dateline San Carlos:
We have had numerous reports of restrictions on soap and toilet paper again. If you recall, there was a big stink several weeks ago that inmates’ rooms were being searched because they asked for these supplies. The audacity of them to ask for soap in the middle of a pandemic! With help from our sources within the Director’s office, we thought we solved that. Now, it’s ugly head is resurfacing again.
A Lt. on that unit was asked about it, and he said “we are short on those items now.”. Well fix your supply problem, don’t restrict soap while the Arizona COVID numbers are skyrocketing again!
We are calling our advocates again to give these girls some basic hygiene.
