9/23/20 San Carlos unit:
A new woman Keefe worker was observed working her shift WITHOUT A MASK. None of the inmate workers were wearing a mask, very few of the inmate shoppers were wearing masks.

This Keefe employee exposed 1,300 shoppers and 5 inmate store workers to possible sickness. And the DOC let her come to work without one!

If inmates get COVID and it can be traced to this one IRRESPONSIBLE Keefe worker, then who would pay in a court case? The DOC? Keefe?

In case you’ve lost track of the lies, this is taken directly from the AZDOC COVID-19 Management Update of September 10, 2020 : “Since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Department has taken significant actions to mitigate the risk and impacts of COVID-19 in its facilities. Keeping our staff, inmates and communities safe continues to be our top priority.”

And from August 4: “Since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Department has taken significant actions to mitigate the risk and impacts of COVID-19 in its facilities. Keeping our staff, inmates and communities safe continues to be our top priority. (Same BS story, copied and pasted from date to date.)

Staff in those areas are equipped with full PPE that include N-95 masks, gowns, gloves, and face shields. On July 2, inmates were provided fabric face coverings for their use.
All prison complex staff have been required to wear cloth face coverings since June 15, 2020. (They state that masks are required, but that statement is obviously only for public consumption, and not enforced inside the prison. Don’t believe it? Read more of our stories. Even some of the nurses can’t be bothered.)
